I have studied Genshin Ju-Jitsu for several years under the tuition of Grand Master Den Butler, To date I have achieved 2nd Degree Black Belt. As I continue to study Genshin Ju-Jitsu I decided to start my own club at my sons school in Staverton. My son, Martin Arlett has also been training in Genshin Ju-Jitsu for approximately 18 months and is currently a Green Belt after successfully completing 3 gradings.

I approached Mr. Bruce Douglas the headmaster of Staverton C of E Primary School about my wishes to create Staverton Ju-Jitsu at his school. Mr. Douglas was very enthusiastic about my plans and after several discussions together; I opened Staverton Ju-Jitsu at Staverton Primary School on Tuesday and Thursday evenings for children and adults.

Staverton Ju-Jitsu has been running since September 2009 and I teach children and parents of Staverton Primary School, as well as anyone else who is willing to learn. Mr. Douglas was so keen he joined Staverton Ju-Jitsu and attends on a Tuesday evening. Currently I teach 12 children and 10 adults on a Tuesday evening and 12 children and 10 adults on a Thursday evening.

Over the years that I have been training and studying Genshin Ju-Jitsu, I have also been studying in other related subjects that are listed bellow, Such is my interest in martial arts; I decided that I would obtain these qualifications to gain a greater knowledge and awareness of the subject, I have also started to learn other styles of Ju-Jitsu.
